Major investment projects to be presented at "OGT — 2026" forum in Ashgabat
The international forum "OGT — 2026" will bring together high-level representatives of government agencies, international oil and gas companies, technology providers, financial institutions, and investors. The conference will feature a comprehensive exchange of views on energy security, sustainable development, and long-term cooperation, as reported by the "Nebit-Gaz" newspaper. Along with developing hydrocarbon resources, Turkmenistan places great importance on the development of renewable energy and deep processing of oil and gas products. The forum will highlight investment opportunities in onshore and offshore hydrocarbon projects in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, subsequent phases of the "Galkynysh" gas field development, and the modernization of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and the Seydi Oil Refinery. Special attention will also be given to diversifying natural gas export routes, particularly the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas pipeline project. In addition, discussions will cover environmental cooperation focused on reducing methane emissions, boosting energy efficiency, and expanding solar and wind energy capacity. The "OGT — 2026" forum will serve as an effective platform to elevate partnership to new heights and implement mutually beneficial projects at the international level.
